How to link to audio file

To link to a file on another server

1) go to the song and copy the url, for example

http://141.213.255.40:16080//blojsom_resources/meta/dannyi/Dahil%20Sa%20Iyo.mp3

2) In Typepad author mode, create a post and in the body of the post, type in the text that will contain the link, for example, LISTEN TO SONG

3) Highlight the words LISTEN TO SONG and click on the INSERT LINK  (chain) icon in the editing toolbar for the post.

4) You will be prompted to enter a url beginning with http: so copy and paste in the url for the song from step 1

5) For the song to open in a new window, click the EDIT HTML tab in Typepad.

6) Type target="blank" into the code after the file name.  Your code will look like this:

--<a href="http://141.213.255.40:16080//blojsom_resources/meta/dannyi/Dahil%20Sa%20Iyo.mp3" target="blank">LISTEN</a>

Test your link.
LISTEN TO SONG
It should now open in a new window that you can resize as you listen and read the lyrics of the song (instead of replacing your blog window containing the text).

Podcast link for iTunes

There is now a link (bottom right margin) to Subscribe to Podcast for this blog. Copy this link into iTunes (Advanced Menu > Subscribe to Podcast) and any mp3 uploaded or linked to this blog should appear in your list of files.  Movie files may take longer to appear after being posted to the blog.  Please let me know if you have questions.
